Two of my articles are on the excellent Great War web site – Tom Morgan’s Hellfire Corner.
‘Open Warfare. The diary of Captain Arthur Impey, 79 Brigade, Royal Field Artillery’. He came from Longbridge House, Birmingham and the full transcript of the diary covers August 15 to November 11 1918 in detail.

‘Langford Budville, Somerset, Roll of Honour 1914-1918’. The hand-written Roll is displayed at the back of the Church and lists seventy names of men and women who served from the village, including the small number who did not return. Thirteen others are also described who could have been included. The original roll includes my grandfather, James Hayes, his brother, Thomas, and great-uncles Ernest and William Pike.
